About James Supercave:
With their debut album, Better Strange (2016), earning multiple “Best Album” awards, sold out shows on both coasts, and opening slots for some of the nation’s biggest artists (Future Islands, Crystal Castles, Silversun Pickups), James Supercave have earned a dedicated fan base across the country. Andrea Domanick of Vice’s Noisey noted, “James Supercave’s music rests on the precipice between genres, embracing a brand of psych pop that revels in the abstract.” In 2014 they released their first single, “Burn,” which claimed ‘Track of the Day’ from L.A. tastemaker KCRW. The following year their debut EP, The Afternoon, sparked great praise and opened the door for James Supercave to play major festivals and tour across the west coast. In support of 2016’s Better Strange, they then hit the road on a national tour, followed by headline slots at local festival staples, and a sold out co-headline west coast tour wrapping up 2017. Most recently, James Supercave released their six-song Alarm Will Sound EP and headlined a national tour.
